Sanctuary House Resort Motel is a real sanctuary for holiday-makers. It is not just a typical motel on a busy road or highway, but a resort style motel on ten tranquil acres right next to the world renowned Healesville Sanctuary.
Accommodation is classified as three and a half star or four star, with queen size beds in all rooms, ensuites, Austar satellite television (at no extra charge), reverse cycle heating/cooling, fridge, radio, toaster, tea/coffee making, phone and wireless internet access. Rooms are serviced daily. Ample parking on site for cars, caravans and trailers.
Facilities include: state of the art on-site restaurant with fully licensed bar (available for functions and weddings), outdoor solar heated swimming pool, and lounge with blazing log fire in winter, lawn area with gazebo/barbecue in summer. From Melbourne travel on the Maroondah Hwy to Lilydale, then Healesville. Enter Healesville township and look for the right turn after Coles supermarket marked Badger Creek Road. Sanctuary House Healesville is approx three kilometres uphill on the right hand side, 400 metres before Healesville Sanctuary.
