Discover how you can adopt a more environmentally sustainable approach to your life by coming along to Celebrate Mooroolbark festival on Saturday 25 March, from 10am to 4pm at Red Earth Park and Mooroolbark Community Centre.

In 2017, Celebrate Mooroolbark is making a conscious effort to produce a more environmentally sustainable community festival. Waste reduction and lowered energy consumption is the aim, so they have adopted a green theme for the 2017 festival: It’s Easy Being Green.

At 10am people line the street to see the parade make its way down Brice Avenue to the festival site at Red Earth Park. There are two stages of live entertainment including the 50-voice-strong Melbournaires Harmony Chorus on the main stage and SPARKS and One More Weekend on the Youth Stage. There will be a car display, free and low cost activities, rides, local information and a huge marketplace featuring the Jim’s TradeNet Local Business Hub, where you can meet Jim Penman himself.

As Mooroolbark’s premier community festival, the event offers a low-cost, relaxing and fun day out for all ages. So come along to celebrate the community spirit of Mooroolbark. Don’t forget your picnic rug.
