Overview
Healesville is set to turn back the clock with the Yarra Valley Railway playing host to the 5th Annual Healesville Heritage Festival!
Among the activities and displays will first and foremost be the chance to ride the ever popular, beautifully restored 1940's Walker Rail Motor that once operated daily between Healesville and Lilydale. Added attractions include a range of steam rollers and steam engines, and a working Heritage Blacksmith.
Displays will include: vintage fire engine's, the Yarra Valley spinners and wavers, local historical societies, a wide range of vintage cars and trucks, vintage buses and bus rides, plus the Eastern wood turners, face painters, entertainment, an exciting mix of market stalls and much, much more. There is even a large playground allowing children to let off some steam and parents a time to relax and soak up the atmosphere. A full list of the displays and exhibitors can be seen on the website or visit the Facebook page.
In addition to the hard work of the volunteers who spend hours bringing this event to life, we would also like the thank the sponsors, the Yarra Ranges Council, the RACV Club and the Healesville Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank.
The Healesville Heritage Festival is the perfect family day out for all ages, see you there!
