Overview
Come and celebrate 100 years of rail in Hurstbridge at this years Wattle Festival. The Hurstbridge Wattle Festival is a rural street festival held on the last Sunday in August in Hurstbridge so come and stroll, discover and enjoy our unique surroundings. There will be entertainment for the whole family including a Tongan Feast, roving performers, local wines and art, market stalls, free activities for children, youth bands, best of fest competition, alfresco dining and much more.
A special focus on the railway heritage of the area will extend past the railway station and throughout the whole of Hurstbridge. Check out the unique yarn bomb of the train on the town fence and make sure you book your tickets on the steam train so you can arrive in style.
It promises to be a fun and entertaining day for the whole family so don't miss out.
