Find many of life's little pleasures at Little Creatures. Wander through the brewery's Village wonderland in South Geelong to sample a few. Stop off at the Canteen for pale ales and pizzas, or try a Furphy Ale, made from locally sourced ingredients. Head on to the White Rabbit Barrel Hall for a glimpse at the sibling brewery’s beer-making process and a taste of their specialty beers, including an award-winning white ale, at the bar.
While in the neighbourhood, drop into the Bellarine Brewing Co's brewery for craft beers inspired by the region, such as Mussel Stout, Lonsdale Lager or Queenscliff Pale Ale, or dine and imbibe at Odyssey Tavern & Brewery, with its famous Calypso Pale Ale.
Further afield, sample a Southern Bay Brewing beers, made on the banks of Corio Bay in Moolap. Choose from an impressive selection, including pilsners, pale and golden ales, and a quirky IPA called Hop Bazooka.
Honing their craft
Newer to the scene but equally as exciting is Barrabool Hills Brewing Company in South Geelong, producers of the popular Cockies Pale Ale, and The Whiskery at Bellarine Distillery, makers of gin and whisky under the label Teddy & the Fox.
Other popular picks include the Pettavel Road Brewing Co, a specialised craft brewery producing pale, golden or amber ale in small batches and Flying Brick Ciders, makers of traditionally crafted ciders and one of Australia's fastest growing boutique cideries.
