The Loch Ard Gorge Evening Walk is offered by Port Campbell Touring Company and is available from mid November to mid March. The tour commences and finishes in Port Campbell. Guests are picked up from their Port Campbell accommodation.
From the main car park at Loch Ard Gorge, guests walk to Island Archway and Razorback. They then walk through the spectacular Loch Ard Gorge and take an in depth look at the geology and history of the wreck of the Loch Ard in 1878.
Just on sunset, the group then walk to Mutton Bird Island to view the thousands of mutton birds returning to their burrows, before returning to Port Campbell.
You will return to Port Campbell about one hour after sunset.
