Join in the festivities, discover new recipes and meet the makers of some of Victoria's finest food, wine and craft beer. Learn from the best with an Italian cooking class run by Patrizia Simone, of Simone's restaurant fame, or time your visit for the High Country Harvest Festival. Duck out to the nearby villages of Wandiligong and Porepunkah and delight in more superb food and wine.

With plenty of big houses and multiple cabin retreats on offer, Bright is perfect for those big family trips or getaways with friends. Base yourself in Bright for winter snow activities, and return in spring and summer for hiking, kayaking, and even ballooning over the Alpine National Park.

View Bright's picturesque setting on the Ovens River from lookouts at Mount Buffalo. See scenery like nothing else on the 230-kilometre Bogong Alpine Way (part of the Great Alpine Road), which loops through Bright, Mount Beauty, Falls Creek and over Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham.
