The Clunes Booktown Festival is all about celebrating books and the great conversations and big ideas that come from them. The Festival is turning the stereotype of rural towns on its head: from slow, dusty and dry to a hub of ideas and the arts.
Along with award winning author talks and panel discussions, festival-goers can discover the largest collection of rare, out-of-print and collectible books in Australia, go inside heritage buildings, listen to live music, watch street performers and enjoy delicious festival food.
There is an amazing Kids Village with performers and workshops, along with a hay-bale maze to keep the young and young at heart amused.
It's a wonderful weekend away or an enjoyable family day out, with something for everyone.
Join the conversation on 2nd and 3rd May 2020 in Clunes. Tickets are on sale through the website. Get in early as panel discussions must be pre booked and sell out quickly. Festival tickets are available for purchase on the day.
