The 15th annual Woodend Winter Arts Festival brings together Australian and international artists, performers, authors and commentators for the Macedon Ranges premier arts festival. Performers include Piers Lane from London, Concilium musicum Wien from Vienna, Joseph Tawadros and Simon Tedeschi, as well as a stellar lineup of authors and speakers, including George Megalogenis, Clare Wright, Kelly Gardiner, Toni Jordan and many others.

With a range of concerts, literary, community events and salons, this year's Festival will have something for all ages and interests. Free exhibitions and the opening night fireworks are enjoyed by the entire community and provide a fantastic way to support local community organisations.

All this just one hour from Melbourne in the beautiful Macedon Ranges.

Ticket prices vary widely - there are numerous free and low-cost events, and concerts are between $35 to $45. Dinner concert is $85. Children's prices are available for some events.

Sunday Festival Taster experience

per person $90 *

Spend Sunday afternoon in Woodend at the "Songs of Love and Loss" concert with Cristina Russo and Konrad Olszewski, followed by gourmet pizza and wine at the Victoria Hotel. Finish with a second concert, this time with Joseph Tawadros and his "The Art of the Oud". This special package of two concerts and dinner costs $90 per person, a 20% saving.
