Folk Trio: Connell, Friday and Thursby

Daylesford Cider, 155 Dairy Flat Road, Musk, Victoria, 3461
01 Dec 2019

Welcome in Summer with good friends and folk singers Mandy Connell, Girl Friday and Floyd Thursby who are collaborating for an afternoon of traditional and original folk melodies.

With them they bring guitar, mandolin, ukulele and stunning three part harmonies. There is no mistaking the startlingly honest voice of former Stray Hens front-woman Mandy Connell. Soaring over riffs on handmade guitars, she is the darling of Australian folk. Girl Friday's folk, jazz and blues sensibility evokes a sense of nostalgia, innocence and melancholy. Floyd Thursby has spent over 20 years writing songs about love and death, wild nights and quiet days, sacred moments and everyday life.

Join us in the courtyard and cider garden at Daylesford Cider, and discover ancient songs from the old countries and new songs from modern-day Brunswick.
