Kyneton Museum

67 Piper Street, Kyneton, Victoria, 3444

Located just an hour north of Melbourne, the Kyneton Museum collection is housed in a beautiful bluestone building recognised by the National Trust and designed by architect Andrea Stumbucco who was responsible for many beautiful buildings in the Gold Rush era.

There are changing exhibitions in the original banking chamber, and upstairs the bank manager’s residence is preserved in time.

Outdoor exhibits include original bluestone stables, servant's kitchen, laundry and Theaden Cottage. The Museum is also home to a wide variety of carriages and historical agricultural equipment.
