- Goldfields Track Wallaby Track Section
The guided walks explore Wombat State Forest and traverse sections of the Goldfields Track formerly known as the Great Dividing Trail. One walk ventures through a cutting on the long gone Creswick to Daylesford disused railway line where the walls rise imposingly to well over 20m as the cutting curves 1km through 500 million year old bedrock. Another walk winds its way amongst the tall trees through Wombat Forest to Mullins Dam. All walks depart directly from the Ashram so there is no need to start the car from the time you arrive to the time you leave thereby enhancing your feeling of escape.
