This workshop covers the exciting basics of developing your own black and white film.
In this three hour session you will load a film tank with your exposed film, work through the chemical process to develop your film and hang it to dry. Once the film is dry we will introduce you to basic darkroom techniques so that you can print a contact sheet of your negatives. This workshop is fantastic for analogue photographers wanting the confidence to independently process their own films.
All film processing materials are included plus photographic paper to successfully produce one contact sheet, comprehensive handouts are supplied, bring along your exposed black and white film (it is recommend that you pick up a suitable black and white film type or black and white film disposable camera from Focal Point a week before the workshop).
This workshop will suit a beginner who understands how to use an SLR camera and is learning to shoot film; someone who has shot film in the past and would like a refresher; or someone who would like to experiment with shooting a roll of B&W film using a disposable camera.
