Bellarine Community Farmers' Market

Corner Draper Street and Presidents Avenue, Ocean Grove, Victoria, 3226
20 Oct 2018, 17 Nov 2018, 15 Dec 2018

The Bellarine Community Farmers' Market main aims is to bring together local farmers, growers, producers, community groups and passionate 'foodie' individuals to provide fresh food, produce and plants direct to the public in one convenient location.

They are not only passionate about supporting local food, but also passionate about the community and sustainability as well.

The market focuses on local relationships with the Ocean Grove Park Inc., community groups, as well as the stallholders. Several key initiatives include the Shared Community Stall, whereby small scale producers bunk in together on one volunteer-run stall. This includes hobby farmers, backyard growers, school groups and food-based businesses.

Other include the Community 'Shout-Out' Stall - a free stall for any local, not-for-profit Bellarine Community Group to come along and set up a stall / booth to promote and advertise themselves.

The market also supports local buskers to provide background ambience while the patrons shop.

The Kids Corner Marquee is run by Bellarine Kids and offers a safe and engaging area for children, with changing craft activities.

With so much on offer, Bellarine Community Farmers' Market is a great family day out with something for everyone.
