Dead Men Talking - Geelong

Geelong Trades Hall, 127 Myers Street, Geelong, Victoria, 3220
31 Oct 2019

A musical play exploring the relationship, music and verse of Australia's two favourite poets, Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson. Performed by veteran actors, Max Cullen and Warren Fahey, the two-hand play explores a rich vein of Australian history.

Dead Men Talking finds Henry Lawson (Max Cullen) and Banjo Paterson (Warren Fahey) in the Leviticus Bar and Grill, Heaven's Gate, yarning about their changing circumstance, literary legacies and infamous 'war of words' in The Bulletin magazine. They sing, recite and generally banter about yesterday's Australia.
