Allambee Camp is a residential camp with an excellent range of outdoor adventure activities. It is a Quality Tourism Camp and Adventure Activity Accredited operator, recognised by the Department of Education and Training Victoria. Groups have sole use of the venue. The camp is family owned and operated and personal service with attention to detail is guaranteed.
Allambee Camp is set on nine acres, with an additional 10-kilometre bush walking tracks to explore. The views south are astonishing and on a clear day the mountains of Wilsons Promontory National Park can be seen.
Allambee Camp services schools and various groups such as church groups, youth groups, family groups, corporate groups, organisations supporting people with disabilities, sports clubs etc. The services provided by Allambee Camp include accommodation (up to 100 people), catering and outdoor adventure activities. The venue is conveniently located in West Gippsland, just over one hour from the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne and under one hour from Traralgon. It is a unique and peaceful location atop of the stunning Strzelecki Ranges.

Strzelecki Lodge is named after the Polish explorer and geologist Sir Pawel Edmund Strzelecki that explored the area and named the ranges where the camp is situated. This is the main lodge located on top of the highest point of Allambee Camp. The views from this lodge are amazing and you see all the way down the rolling hills of South Gippsland. Strzelecki Lodge has a capacity of 58 beds in two sections. One section of the building has four rooms and two big shared bathrooms under the same roof. The other section has two rooms with shared bathrooms and one ensuited room. All rooms are carpeted and have electric heaters. Strzelecki Lodge has a multipurpose room also. This room is 9 x 9 meters and has AV-equipment such as projector and big screen, DVD/CD player, digital telvision, HDMI and VGA connections for laptops, sound system, whiteboard, pool table etc. It can be used as a recreation space, meeting space or for any other indoor activities. It can be set up with tables and chairs for workshops too.
Wattle Lodge is nestled in between majestic trees and looks out over the pool. It has recently been renovated and beautifully done up. There is one room with two single beds and an ensuite bathroom in this lodge. The other three rooms have bunks, one has two bunks, one three bunks and one four bunks. These rooms share a large bathroom with the three showers and three toilets across the hallway. Pillows and blankets (during the colder months) are supplied. The rooms have electrical heaters and are carpeted.
Dining Room and commercial kitchen
The dining room is centrally located near the lodges. It can hold up to 100 people. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee/tea making facilities in the dining area. The dining room is heated and carpeted. The meals can either be served inside or outside on the deck area. Self-catered groups also have access to the large barbecue and commercial kitchen. The commercial kitchen has two commercial oven ranges, a warmer, a commercial dishwasher, walk in cool room, freezer and plenty of storage space. All equipment such as pots, crockery, cutlery etc. is available to self-catered groups and also conveyor toaster etc. can be used by these groups.
