The Tambo River Tourist Park is small and friendly, and pets are welcome by arrangement. It is located on the Princes Highway at Swan Reach, between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance, and close to Metung. Access to the Gippsland Lakes, rivers, beaches, mountains and forests is easy and convenient.

The comfortable cabins are all air-conditioned, equipped with kitchens and ensuites and bedding is provided. They accommodate from two to seven people.

Ensuite cabins have a double bed and a set of bunks. They sleep four people. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. They feature reverse cycle air conditioning for year round comfort. Bedding is provided to all sleeping positions. There is parking for a car beside the cabin. The family ensuite cabin has three bedrooms, two with double beds, and one with three single beds. There is a well equipped family sized kitchen with a large fridge, making this cabin a great option for a family group. The smaller ensuite cabins have all the facilities provided in the larger cabins, and are suitable for a couple.
