This suite is situated on the ground floor and has a light-filled sitting area off the bedroom with double French doors also opening to your own outdoor patio leading to the garden and hot tub. The furnishings include a Fortuny hand-painted silk light fitting as originally designed by Mariano Fortuny in 1897. The screen used as a bedhead is a French re-production of a full-size drawing on vellum by Dutch painter Albert Eckhout in 1664.
This suite is situated on the ground floor and has a light-filled sitting area off the bedroom with double French doors opening to your own outdoor patio leading to the garden and hot tub. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and an array of mainly European pieces. The bedhead wall feature is a hand-painted de Gourney scene. The antique porcelain was purchased in Venice - perhaps a relic from the days of Marco Polo.
