This annual event is the second largest in Victoria with over 150 attractive and innovative sites, enjoyed by a crowd of over 6,000 with displays and sales stands.
The event is a great family day out full of children's activities, music, catering as well as plenty of bus and car parking. Entry is free for children under 16 years.
Garden Guru for 2019 on Main Stage is Tino Carnevale both Saturday and Sunday.
Born and bred in Tasmania, Tino’s lifelong interest in plants and gardening stems from growing up on his family’s small farm in Southern Tasmania, helping to tend its vineyard, olive grove and extensive vegetable garden.
As well as being a presenter on ABC Television’s Gardening Australia for a decade, Tino writes a weekly column for the Tasmanian newspaper The Mercury and also articles for the Gardening Australia Magazine. He has worked at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and still films there regularly.
