The winter preserves, fermenting cooking class is hands-on. You will ferment all the seasonal produce as a group and take home the class bounty.
This class is suitable for beginners as well as advanced cooks who wish to learn new skills and techniques. You will learn that fermenting is not as hard as you think.
Included in winter preserves, fermenting at Jacican is an apron and gardening gloves to use during the class are supplied along with a take-home recipe booklet.
Jacican supplies everything you will need to pick and make your own winter preserves, fermenting. You will just need to wear closed-toe shoes as we will be outside in the kitchen garden for part of the class.
