Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is a living history museum, recreating the time of settlement and the story of the coal miners from South Gippsland.
Upgrade your visit with a multimedia interpretative self-guided tour. Take a journey through time with the story of James Hardwick, Coal Creek's most successful mine manager, or help the miners light up Melbourne. Learn local history by searching for the hidden treasures around the village.
Come along and ride the bush tramway, buy some old fashioned lollies from the general store and feed the ducks in the lake. While you're here, drop in and have a look at the Community Gallery and be sure to talk to the volunteers for their knowledge of local history. Come on one of the scary Ghost Tours and see the village at night. Think of Coal Creek for your wedding or for a special event with the family.
