Book your spot at Tidal River, the main location for accommodation and camping in Wilsons Promontory National Park and one of Victoria's favourite holiday destinations. Pitch a tent and listen to the gentle waves of Norman Beach. Tidal River Campground has 484 camping and caravan sites (including 20 powered sites) situated near the beach and river, with an additional 11 remote walk-in sites located within the park.
The campground has car parking, showers, toilets and picnic tables. The Tidal River visitor centre is open daily and provides information about walking tracks and things to do within the park. The Tidal River General Store carries basic supermarket goods and emergency items. All facilities at Tidal River are within walking distance of Norman Beach.
Campsites are in great demand, so be sure to make advance bookings for holiday and busy periods. During summer a ballot is held to allocate sites from Christmas until late January (except for the Wilderness Retreats). Minimum stays apply and regardless of the time of year, all accommodation must be pre-booked.
