Grade: Level 3 – Challenging rides requiring experience and a good level of fitness.
Start: Traralgon Railway Station
Finish: Car park, Tarra Bulga National Park
Note: This ride is quite challenging on the way there – uphill all the way – but that also means it is a nice downhill ride back to Traralgon if you choose to take a return trip. Take some walking shoes and make the most of one of the short walks in the national park
Getting there: Travel via Monash Freeway (M1) and Princes Highway (A1) to Traralgon approximately 165 km east of Melbourne. The ride starts at the Latrobe Visitor Information Centre next to the train station on the Princes Highway, where there is plenty of parking. Cross to the south side of the railway line and ride to Traralgon Creek Road (C483).
