Start your full-day adventure by taking in the beautiful Glen Arte Flora Reserve and the heritage Arte River. The reserve is significant for the elements of integration of warm and cool temperate rainforest. You can also take in the Arte River Falls.
The route offers opportunities for spectacular views. The Mt Jack Lookout offers stunning views of the ocean and lakes extending north, west and east, and the challenging Mt Ellery Walk is rewarded with views from a summit of granite tors. Ocean View Lookout features views over Goolengook old growth forest. The Mt Morris Picnic Area is the starting point for a one-hour return walk to the granite outcrop that extends into the rainclouds.
Your drive also takes in Lind National Park and the Euchre Valley Nature Drive.
Warnings: Log truck traffic. Seasonal road closures. Mainly high range four-wheel drive but low range required. Some tracks are narrow, rocky and have slippery sections.Content: Visit Victoria
