Nestled In the beautiful rolling hills near Korumburra, is the renowned Gooseneck Pottery. Established by Master Potter Robert Barron, this unique studio produces an extensive range of hand-thrown, woodfired stoneware.
The massive Gooseneck Nabori Gama style kiln is fired over a four day period, twice a year. Visitors are welcome to inspect the kiln and workshop, where pots in various stages of making process can be viewed.
Works include jugs, teapots, mugs, bowls, baking dishes, casseroles, platters and bread crocks. Large jars, sculptural pieces and water features are also produced, as well as a wide range of planters, from small herb pots to big tubs.
Pieces can be purchased directly from the pottery.
Gooseneck Pottery is open on weekends, Public Holidays and most weekdays (Phone first during the week to check) 10:30am – 5:00pm.
