Your Grand Gippsland Cycle Tour (19 days, 18 nights) 760km starts in the heart of Melbourne and takes you through the stunning scenery of Gippsland to the beautiful remote hamlet of Marlo where the Snowy River meets the sea.
Cycle out of Melbourne along iconic Beach Road and enjoy the Brighton beach bathing boxes and bayside views. This ride gives you an extraordinary mix of wonderful country. Every day is different.
You will cycle the farmlands, over the mangroves and along the surf beaches with a visit to the world famous Fairy penguins. Your bike will take you to the stunning Bunurong cliffs, with little coves and beaches to explore, the Southern Strzelecki Ranges through wonderful arty crafty country towns, and up the emerald green rolling hills and temperate rainforests that Gippsland is famous for.
After the forests you come to the fantastic mix of open plains, country towns each with its own historical flavour, museums, art and big rivers. Finally you will cycle the East Gippsland Rail Trail with its immense trestle bridges.
At the end of your self guided tour you will stay the night at relaxing Marlo where the Snowy River meets the sea.

The Grand Gippsland Cycle Tour starts every day of the year. We do have set start date tours if you wish to share the costs of support and luggage transfers with others. The tour will still be self guided fully supported. Ask us about this option. The tour can also be cycled as an express version if you wish to do the entire route in fewer days.
