At KurracaBurN Heights, Wedderburn, your hosts Bruce and Michelle provide boutique accommodation in the heart of Central Victoria's Golden Triangle.
KurracaBurN Heights is an iconic 1938 building, known as the Korong Bush Nursing Hospital for over 50 years, that has been transformed into a home and private accommodation for guests. Set on two acres, backing on to bushland and overlooking the Donaldson Park recreation reserve and Nardoo Creek, KurracaBurN Heights is just a five-minute walk to Wedderburn’s main street, with its shops, cafes, parkland and hotel.
Wedderburn is just 50 minutes from Bendigo on the Calder Highway, a halfway stop from Mildura to Melbourne. A warm welcome is offered at KurracaBurN Heights.
The accommodation is contained in one half of one of the town’s most historic buildings – the former hospital and child health service. The private guest wing includes three well-appointed bedrooms, full kitchen facilities, bathroom and many thoughtful touches to make visitors feel comfortable and well cared for. Entrance via a separate doorway. All areas, including bathrooms, have wheelchair access.
