The Lions Inglewood Alive Festival brings together community groups from Inglewood and surrounding districts to promote our town to the wider region and beyond. A unique point of difference for the festival is that they close the Calder Highway through Inglewood for the day – this not only draws people to the event, but literally stops traffic.
The street is transformed into a vibrant space filled with gourmet food vans and food court, live entertainment, a custom car and motorcycle show and shine display, selected market stalls, exhibits from community groups, free children’s activities and the Wimmera Axemen’s Association Championship woodchop competition.
