See the largest post-traumatic stress awareness convoy ever conducted arrive at Ballarat on Saturday 13 October.
The Lightning Bolt II Invictus Convoy is a procession of military, firefighting, ambulance, police and support vehicles travelling through four states (17 towns and cities) in October to raise awareness for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and support the Invictus Games.
The procession will be setting up at the Sovereign Hill car park on Bradshaw St for the day. Everyone is welcome to come along, see the spectacle and chat about post traumatic stress with psychologists, Invictus Games athletes, experts, first responders and veterans, including Stand Tall 4 PTS founder Tony Dell - veteran, former Australian cricketer and PTSD spokesperson and of course, the kids can climb on and into the firetruck.
In the evening Stand Tall 4 PTS will also present Shell Shock, an award winning play following one soldier’s story of coping with the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress, at the Sovereign Hill Theatre.
Join in shining a light on post traumatic stress and the impact it has on the lives of so many - particularly the military servicemen and women and first responders.
