The Ballarat Beer Festival is a family-friendly festival filled with Australia's leading craft beer brewers, a great range of live bands, children's activities, many gourmet food trucks and craft beer masterclasses.
Recently voted Australia's most popular regional craft beer festival, Ballarat Beer Festival moves to a new month in 2021, February 20. Situated in the North Gardens near Lake Wendouree, the new site offers plenty of natural shade from the abundant trees, and a relaxing rural picnic style atmosphere.
With shade aplenty from the abundant trees offering respite to the summer heat, this is the perfect day to round up your mates, grab a picnic blanket and take in over 20,000 square metres of garden beer action.
A boulevard of brewers will offer a kaleidoscope of tastes and flavours – take your pick from over 150 different brews from across Australia and regional award-winning wines.
The 2021 Ballarat Beer Festival is preceded by a degustation dinner on the prior Friday night, with each course matched with beers or a cider, and is hosted by the inimitable Professor Pilsner, Pete Mitcham and Beer Diva, Kirrily Waldhorn.
