The 39th Annual Beekeeping Field Day, presented by the Bendigo Branch Victorian Apiarists Association Inc at Harcourt Leisure Centre.
This event's aim is to promote beekeeping skills, education and information gathering within the industry for both novice and experienced beekeepers; offering support for all. Open to all interested people wanting to meet other beekeepers and industry members.
Trade Stalls and Catering are available all day, honey and a wide variety of beekeeping materials will be available for purchase. There will also be guest speakers discussing a range of topics, including tree identification, almond pollination and extracting honey from flow hives or traditional hives.
Of much interest will be the open-hive demonstrations - describing the workings of and care of beehives.
All members of the public are welcomed, with items for sale such as jewellery, beeswax food wraps, candles face, hand, body, and baby balms. For more information please contact Carol via phone.
