Koling wada-ngal Wadawurrung Dja: Let’s walk Wadawurrung Country together for Frolic Festival

Meeting outside, Cnr of Oliver Street and Esmond Street, Black Hill, Victoria, 3350
10 Nov 2019

Yarn up and Walk Country with traditional owner Tammy Gilson as she takes you on a journey looking at the landscape through the eye of her ancestors, 'the Wadawurrung people'.

Along the Yarrowee Tammy will share stories connecting to place and give you an understanding of our living waters and how her ancestors managed Country with fire.

Note: This will be a sensory-friendly event with no loud music or flashing lights but is not wheelchair accessible.

The Ballarat Frolic Festival is an annual pride celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+) regional arts and culture. It runs for a full week and has plenty of events for everyone - all welcome.

The event envisage an inclusive Ballarat and surrounds where LGBTIQA+ people feel safe, connected, and proud; the broader community is welcoming; and their contributions to art, culture, and the community are celebrated.
