The Brown Hill Market operates once a month, on the Fourth Saturday of the month. Based at the Brown Hill Hall (between the swimming pool and the pub), this is a genuine local market, and is strongly supported by the people of Brown Hill. Only a minute or so away from the main freeway to Melbourne, the market is easily accessed by visitors.
Stalls include coffee van, multiple hot food stalls, fresh vegetables, fruit, plants (including natives, edibles and succulents), bread, olive oil, cheese, jams, chutneys/sauces, clothing, fudge, gifts, health bars, eggs, honey, German small goods, wine, Cornish pasties, fresh ground coffee, sweets, hand-made jewellery and much more. As well as a massive range of dry goods (flours, grains, pulses, dried fruit, herbs, herbal teas, nuts and much more.
There really is something for everyone. Over 20 stalls inside the hall, with an emphasis on locally-made gifts you will not find elsewhere.
Free entry and free entertainment. This is a family-friendly event. Dogs are welcome, but only assistance dogs in the hall, please. Enjoy recently built toilets and the comfort of half the stalls being indoor. Market hampers drawn at 10:00am and 11:30am.
