Harmonia Mundi is an unforgettable program of choral songs and music theatre, suitable for all ages.
Waldorf Wayfarers is a collective of students, alumni, teachers, parents and friends of Waldorf or Steiner schools around the world, who love singing and related arts, and who travel in order to share performances of choral music and music theatre with other schools and communities.
Wayfarers tour performances every year. This year’s group of 79 performers are aged 11 to 77, from Taiwan, India, Japan and Switzerland and Australia.
In Ballarat the Wayfarers will present works from their current tour repertoire, which includes: New choral songs written especially for this tour by Wayfarers from India, Taiwan, Japan and Australia, two new short pieces of music theatre (Australian), Judith Clingan and Jessica Dixon's Harmonia Mundi, a one hour music theatre work written in 2017 for solo singers, chorus, mime and orchestra, songs and puppet shows from the cultures represented.
