Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre offers a full range of guides, maps and brochures for the Maryborough and surrounding areas, and Victoria.

The friendly staff can assist you with finding a full range of souvenirs, locally made craft items all at very reasonable prices, postcards and gold nugget pins.

Accommodation and dining guides, guided tours of Maryborough (on request), and self guided tour brochures. They also have books and publications on the history of Maryborough and villages within the shire.

Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre have a fax and photocopying service. As well as clean toilet facilities, a baby changing area and disabled facilities.

See the life size model of the Welcome Stranger gold nugget (69 kilograms) and photographs of old Maryborough and their historic buildings, local Parks and Wildlife Information and maps.

The Central Goldfields Visitor Information is located in the Maryborough Resource Centre Building corner of Nolan and Alma Streets in Maryborough. Also in the building is the Maryborough Library, and an exhibition hall.
