Join for an unforgettable dinner on Dimboola’s iconic Pink Lake as the sun sets. To celebrate the purchase of Honey Long and Prue Stent’s new work 'Salt Lake' through the Nance Kroker Bequest. You will hear from the artists while enjoying a rustic dinner of local produce by Dimboola’s Mason Clarke and wines by Norton Estate.
Collaborative duo Honey Long and Prue Stent are multidisciplinary artists whose work exemplifies an amalgamation of photography, performance, installation and sculpture. They have worked together since 2010. Their work has been shown across Australia and in various counties internationally, including Zurich, Madrid, the United Kingdom and the United States. Both surreal and sublime, Salt Pool embraces and subverts the traditions of landscape photography and the conventions of commercial fashion photography through feminist statement.
This all-inclusive event including bus transfer to and from Horsham will celebrate the unique landscape, two talented young artists taking their practice to the world and building the Horsham Regional Art Gallery Collection.
