The Kannamaroo Festival is a family friendly and free community event held annually in November each year in Horsham.
The Kannamaroo Festival commenced in 1980 and has been operating ever since. The Festival was originally located on the banks of the Wimmera River and the iconic waterway was the inspiration behind the name of the Festival; "Kanna" meaning beautiful and "Amaroo" meaning waterhole. Due to periods of drought over the decades, the Kannamaroo Festival was relocated to Firebrace Street, the heart of Horsham's shopping precinct.
This years event will be held over two days with the traditional Friday night Festival being held in Firebrace Street, along with evening activities at Sawyer Park on Saturday.
