Get your groove on and chill out, the Port Fairy Vintage Festival is here.
Held over three days and fun for all ages, festival goers will get to experience Rock n Roll dance, vintage roadshow valuations, a vintage car display, AFL Grand Final breakfast, vintage markets and crafts for kids and music. Kabooom. Hold your ears folks, the largest of the Battery hill Cannons will be fired up and let go in anger. Experience a History Tour of the town or climb to the top of the Griffiths island Lighthouse, a bluestone relic built in 1859.
The Cover Girls will take you on a journey from the 40s to the 60s with an interactive crowd pleaser. Prepare to be swept off your feet and into their world of falling in love, falling out of love and falling over.
The Port Fairy Museum will feature an exciting exhibition ‘Port Fairy in the Fifties’ Showcasing clothes, accessories and records alongside a historic photo display from the 1950’s, the exhibition will also include memorabilia from Port Fairy’s last Premiership in 1958.
