Stardust & The Mission

Portland Arts Centre, Glenelg Street, Portland, Victoria, 3305
20 Jul 2019

For 25 years, a locked cupboard sat in a family garage. So what was inside?

A 'Fighting Gunditjmara' man returns home from war only to be forced from his traditional lands. What drove him to fight for a country that didn't even recognise him?

The Space Company presents a double bill of documentary theatre: 'Stardust' and 'The Mission.' Two stories about love, music and war and all the things people have to leave behind.
With members of the Portland Citizens Brass Band also performing across both shows, 'Stardust' and 'The Mission' will reveal the extraordinary stories of two ordinary Australians whose legacies still reverberate today - in a double bill that brings to life both lingering memories and lessons from the past.
