Australian Kelpie Centre

Please note that the Australian Kelpie Centre interpretive display is currently closed due to COVID 19 restrictions.

Casterton, known as the birthplace of the kelpie, is now home to the newly built, all purpose Australian Kelpie Centre. The Henty Street facility, situated in the heart of the Kelpie Trail, includes a Visitor Information Centre, meeting spaces, amenities and an interpretative display showcasing the history of the Kelpie working dog.
