In a salute to the charismatic Mirka, the hotel’s walls and halls are hung with striking artworks by emerging and accomplished artists, over 160 works in total including a number of Mirka’s – guests often comment that it is like staying in an art gallery.
There are a variety of room types offers something for everyone, starting with smallest room the piccolo room, followed by the standard room and standard room with balcony, superior room, studio suite and two bedroom suite. The hotel also feature two conference rooms, bar and restaurant.

Two Bedroom Suite
Choose from a top floor suite (stairs involved great views the reward) or a quiet ground floor position. The top floor suite at the rear of the hotel offers balcony views of Melbourne’s south-east city skyline, two bedrooms with kitchen and an open-plan dining / lounge area with a flatscreen television/DVD and stereo, and a large central bathroom with a full-size bath. The ground floor suite offers two bedrooms, a laundry featuring European applicances, a full kitchen with a convection oven and dishwasher, a small private courtyard and a central bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Standard Balcony Room
Your own private balcony overlooking busy Fitzroy Street. Windows are double-glazed but it is recommended light sleepers choose an alternative room type, not facing the street. This room type has a smaller bathroom however is great if you are a smoker, you can smoke cigarettes on the balcony - but the door to the room must be closed. Very few hotels in St Kilda have rooms with a balcony. No two rooms are the same, each room has it’s own colors and award winning artwork.
A popular choice with regular guests, more spacious than Standard Rooms. Again all rooms have different styles and colour schemes.
This is a small compact room type: perfect for an overnight stay where you just need somewhere to shower and sleep and you are off, has a queen bed Although (small in size at nine square meters) it still features all the same great amenities as larger rooms.
