A dedication to the work of Robert Smithson. Best known for his radical land art of the 1960's and early 1970's. Smithson's untimely death at 35, by plane crash, left an indelible legacy on the world of art and design.
Drawing on loans from international and Australian institutions, the show presents many works that have never been shown before in Australia. Sculpture, film, drawing, prints and text make up the collection of over 80 items, curated by Professor Chris McAuliffe - Australian National University and Dr. Amelia Barkin - University of Queensland.
