Join Southern Whisky Trails for a daylong journey of Victoria’s distilling history and craft whisky revival.
Not for the faint-hearted, this tour will introduce you to at least three Melbourne distilleries and will bring together talented distillers, award-winning whiskies, and the best coffee, food and wine in Melbourne’s south side. You will learn about the whisky-making process, taste different styles of grain spirit and discover stories about the past, present and future of whisky in Victoria.
You will be picked up at a central CBD location at 10:00am and returned to the city at 6:30pm. What better place to end the tour than at Whisky and Alement, Australian Whisky Bar of the Year 2017.
The tour will include all transport, morning coffee and bagel, a guided visit and tastings at at least two Melbourne distilleries inlcuding Bakery Hill Distillery and Starward Distillery, a two course lunch with a premium whisky tasting to showcase regional craft from Timboon Railway Shed Distillery, and a whisky cocktail making class.
Tour group will be limited to twelve. All participants must be over 18 years old. Meeting point at Federation Square.
