Changing Face of Victoria - Exhibition Tour

State Library Victoria, Corner of La Trobe Street and Russell Street, Melbourne, Victoria, 3000
Until 31 Dec 2019

Join a free guided tour of the magnificent domed La Trobe Reading Room at the State Library Victoria and see highlights of the Changing Face of Victoria exhibition.

Discover the people, places and events that have shaped Victoria. Meet historic characters from infamous bushranger Ned Kelly to ill-fated explorers Burke and Wills, and learn about the everyday lives of generations of Victorians.

New items and stories are added to this exhibition twice yearly, revealing different aspects of the Library's historic collection.

The Changing face of Victoria exhibition is on Level Five of the Dome Galleries, overlooking the La Trobe Reading Room in the heart of the Library.

Tours are held daily from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, except for public holidays and the extended Christmas period. Meet in the Library’s Russell Street Welcome Zone next to Readings at 2:00pm to join a tour.

Please note: Ned Kelly's armour will be removed from The changing face of Victoria exhibition on 11 February 2019 to undergo preparation for display in the new Victoria Gallery, which will open in late May 2019.
