Heading out of Melbourne you will begin your day at a Wildlife Park to meet some furry Australian favourites. Hand feed the kangaroos, see koalas and get up-close and personal with other native Australian wildlife. Travel over the bridge and onto Phillip Island, known for its natural beauty, sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and unique wildlife experiences home to a colony of around 32,00 little penguins.
Check out the giant surf at Woolamai Beach and take time to enjoy a tranquil coastal walk. Head to the new marine centre at the Nobbies and stroll the boardwalk to view the majestic rocky coast, home to a colony of Australian fur seals. Take time-out to immerse yourself in the interactive WWF Antarctic Journey, experience this state-of-theart fun, educational and virtual world located beneath the Nobbies centre (optional expense).
View the award winning penguin parade visitor centre and as the sun fades, witness the world’s littlest penguins emerge from the sea and waddle ashore. It’s truly a magical and unforgettable experience.
