Phillip Island Sea Kayak Tour

12 Turner Street, Abbotsford, Victoria, 3067
Tour operated by: Sea Kayak Australia

Located at the eastern end of Phillip Island is Cleeland Bight which offers sheltered conditions and amazing views.

After a gearing you up, adjusting your rudders and a safety talk, you jump on the water.

The first section of the sea kayak tour is along a sandy bay where you get great views of San Remo and Kilcunda and practise your sea kayaking skills. You then sea kayak towards Cape Woolamai past huge granite cliffs (reminiscent of Wilson’s Promontory’s landscape) and paddle into or past sea caves.

Beginners and experienced paddlers will find this area a real adventure. Sea life abounds with seals, penguins, sea eagles and the occasional pod of dolphins.

The lunch spot is on the return paddle on a sandy beach surrounded by granite rocks. Gourmet rolls, hot and cold drinks, fruit and biscuits provided.

You then kayak back to the start.
