Discover what locals love about Melbourne by taking a free two to four-hour walking orientation of the city, conducted by trained and enthusiastic volunteers.
Groups of up to four people can be accommodated and bookings are essential.
Orientations are available in English daily (excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day) and depart at 9:30am from the Melbourne Visitor Hub at Town Hall located on the corner of Swanston and Little Collins Streets.
Orientations in languages other than English are available including Croatian, Dutch, Italian, French, German, Greek, Mandarin, Serbian, Swedish, Vietnamese and basic Cantonese.
Bookings are required with at least 24 hours notice. Bookings can be made a maximum of four weeks prior to the orientation date.
You can request your Melbourne Greeter Service orientation online, or book by calling the number provided or in person at the Melbourne Visitor Hub.
Online booking requests received after hours or on the weekend will be responded to within two business days.
