Just one hour out from Melbourne, Cannibal Creek Vineyard is a boutique, award winning, single estate Vineyard owned and operated by Pat and Kirsten Hardiker.
All Cannibal Creek wine is picked and made onsite, by hand, using traditional methods and French oak to produce French style wines. Sit at the long jarrah bar or one of the tables to sample the range of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blanc de Blancs, Vin de Liqueur.
The Cannibal Creek Restaurant menu is made personally and from scratch by Michelin trained Chef Philippe Desrettes. He uses slow, French technique with a changing menu based around produce sourced from Gippsland neighbours and the onsite Kitchen Garden. Philippe’s partner Karine Saille heads a Front of House family of locals.
Cannibal Creek Vineyard is warm and friendly, offering french-leaning food and wine in an Australian country setting. Sit by the wood fire indoors, stretch out on the covered verandah, or take a bushwalk up nearby Mount Cannibal, Cannibal Creek Vineyard is the perfect spot for taking in some country calm while staying in Gippsland or within easy commute back to Melbourne.
