The Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival to be held again in 2020 in September welcomes spring in the Macedon Ranges with an exciting series of activities. It includes visual and performing arts, crafts, gardens, flower shows, markets and hospitality.
The town bursts with daffodils and colour. Local gardens open to visitors and the Flower Show presents the signature blooms of the festival.
Visitors can take in the Festival of One Act Plays, the Antique and Vintage Fair, ferret racing, the dog dash, performances, scarecrows and other enjoyable activities.
The Festival of One Act Plays now in its 64th year has a Beatles theme ’Now we are 64’. The work of the many local artists is on display in exhibitions and local galleries.
All can party at the Daffodil Gala Dance, other dance events, concerts and installations. The district is on display in the Grand Parade on the last day of the Festival with bands, dancers, floats, cars and vintage vehicles.
After the Parade the festivities close with a fair, performances and activities in Kyneton's main streets. All of Kyneton's legendary and award-winning culinary establishments are ready to provide their famous hospitality.
