Royal Mail Hotel is designed to capture the stunning beauty of the Southern Grampians. The property features sweeping views, multi-award-winning dining and cellar, bars, quality accommodation, luxury corporate retreat and wedding facilities for the ultimate destination wedding or celebration.
The hotel features two restaurants, the two hatted Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel, currently open Friday and Saturday evenings and for lunch on Saturday, and Parker Street Project - casual diner, open for lunch and dinner, Friday and Saturdays
Hotel accommodation ranges from Deluxe Mountain View rooms through to Courtyard rooms.
The Mount Sturgeon Station, located just five minutes from the hotel site offers alternative accommodation in eight fully restored 1840's bluestone cottages, or the Mount Sturgeon Homestead, a six bedroom colonial homestead with rolling lawns and stunning mountain views.
Rates start at off peak accommodation for two, through to Homestead for up to 12 guests.
One Bedroom Apartment
This double story apartment features a loft bedroom with balcony, ensuite with bath. Garden and mountain views from balcony. A separate lounge area with log fire and television features soaring ceilings filled with natural light. The well equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, large fridge and appliances overlooks a dining area. Undercover carparking is adjacent.
Two Bedroom Apartment
Located within the Australian gardens surrounding the hotel, the two bedroom apartments offer balcony views of the gardens and Mount Sturgeon and Mount Abrupt from upstairs bedrooms. The apartments feature a small living area downstairs with television, telephone, dining table, and a kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities. Complimentary Wi-Fi included. There is one queen bedded room and one twin single room.
One and two bedroom cottages include a queen size bed, and twin beds in two bedroom cottages, and unique water tank bathrooms. Facilities include kitchenette with microwave, toaster and electric frypan, open lounge and dining area with wood fire and leather sofas, outdoor seating area and breakfast provisions. Located on working sheep farm, five kilometres from the hotel with scenic mountain views.
Located in the town centre, directly opposite the hotel, Mulberry House is a restored four bedroom residence. The house has polished hardwood and flagstone flooring and sleeps up to 11 people in relaxed, semi-self-contained accommodation. There are four bedrooms. Two queen rooms, one queen and single and one queen and two singles. Facilities include fully equipped lounge room with television and central heating, two spacious dining areas, two large shared bathrooms one male and one female, a kitchenette with large refrigerator and a microwave.
Mountain View Room
Mountain View Rooms are set within landscaped Australian gardens, offering uninterrupted panoramic views of the Grampians Ranges. All rooms are luxuriously appointed and architecturally designed to capture the beauty of the natural setting. Warm tones and timber finishes enhance the contemporary design. They feature king bed, rainfall shower, private balcony and Nespresso machines
Standard Rooms are located directly opposite the hotel in a separate area from the main complex. The spacious rooms include en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, sitting area, television, one queen and one single bed. Disabled parking and disabled access to one room is available.

Providing awe inspiring Grampians views, the historic Mount Sturgeon Homestead luxury and pastoral character go hand in hand to create an elegant rural retreat. The beautifully restored and refurbished homestead is perfect as a luxurious rural getaway, a superb wedding venue, or a specialty venue for corporate meetings, retreat and conferences. The Mount Sturgeon Homestead features six bedrooms, formal dining and lounge areas and modern kitchen. Manicured lawns dotted with spectacular red gums, lead down to the Wannon River. A vegetable garden and orchard are waiting to be harvested from during gusts stays.
